This module provides versatile solutions for infrared detection systems for automation machines devices.
It uses the TCRT5000 infrared reflection sensor whose infrared-emitting diodes constantly emit infrared rays.
When the emitted infrared beam is not reflected back or the intensity is not high enough, the infrared receiving tube is in the off state and the module performs a low level, while indicating that the diode is off.
When the object is within the detection range, the high intensity infrared beam is bounced, the module performs a high level, and the indicator diode is on.
Widely used for pulse data sampling of electricity meters, paper detection of fax machines, obstacle detection, black and white line detection.
